This allows you to search for ANY shop within the towns of Cinderford, Coleford, Lydney and Newent plus many of the shops in the surrounding Towns and Villages of the Forest of Dean.

There are several ways to use this guide:

Search by Keyword - by typing in the “type search text here” box and clicking ‘search’. This might be something as specific as the name of a particular shop or a shop type (e.g. Jewellers) or even just the first few letters of a business name. The more specific you are with your search text, the more refined your search results will be.

Search by Product/Service - Ever trailed around the shops looking for a particular item? Well, look for it here first. Many businesses have listed the products or services that they provide. Using the process above, simply type in what you're looking for e.g. Haircut, clothes etc and click 'search'. We are confident you'll find what you're after in the Forest.

Search by Location – simply use the drop-down box to view the shops in a particular Market Town or the Surrounding Area. Click ‘search’ to display your results.

Search by Category – searching for a specific type of shop? Just use the drop-down box to choose from the categories available (e.g. Café’s, Pubs and Restaurants) When you click on ‘search’, a list of several businesses will appear which you can then narrow further by using any of the sub categories (e.g. Hotels and Inns).

Search by ‘First Stop Local Shop’ schemes – Perhaps you want to know which shops accept the Forest Reward Card or participate in any of our other schemes. Just select the relevant tickbox and click ‘search’.

Advanced Search – Click on advanced search for a detailed form that allows you to use a combination of the criteria above to search for a Forest business.

Clicking on any business name will provide you with contact details, a location map and shop pictures (where available) You will also be able to see at a glance whether the business accepts the popular Forest Reward Card and Forest Gift Voucher schemes and much, much more.

Some tips on using the Online Shopping Guide

• Please do not use the 'back button' on your internet browser as it may navigate away from this site.
• You can click the 'forest shopping guide' title at the top of the search form to refresh the shopping guide at any stage
• You can see a list of all of the businesses listed in the Shopping Guide by simply clicking 'search' on the main form (without selecting any criteria such as location, type of business etc)
